Art at Outwood

At Outwood Primary School, we believe that art plays a vital role in enhancing our children's creative talents.  These talents are nurtured and developed through the acquisition and knowledge of the art skills; drawing, colour, texture, form, printing and pattern.

Children will develop their artistic skills through learning about the work of a range of artists, craft makers, designers and architects.  Through our “aspire to inspire” week, we aim to inspire all children through the work and creativity of a variety of great artists and designers.

At Outwood Primary School we ensure that all pupils have the opportunity to explore their ideas, become proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art, craft and design techniques and produce creative work.
