Welcome to Year 1!
You can find out about some of the exciting things we are doing throughout the year as well as getting information and advice to help your child with their learning. If you haven't done so already please sign up to Class Dojo so we can keep in touch.

The children have two PE lessons each week on Tuesady and Thursday. All children need shorts, white t-shirt, pumps or trainers and jogging bottoms/sweatshirts for the winter weather. Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly named.
The children will have homework to complete each week. Homework is an important extension to our learning in class so please support your child in completing their homework each week. Homework is sent out every Friday and must be returned to school by the following Wednesday. As part of their homework the children will have spellings,handwriting and number bonds to practise.
Snack / Drink
As a healthy eating school the children are given a piece of fruit for morning snack.
We also have a healthy eating tuck shop where the children can purchase items for 20p each morning break time.
Please ensure that your child brings their filled water bottle into school each day.
