Black History Month in Year 3

All through October the children have been learning the importance of Black History Month. We focused on the amazing Harriet Tubman. She was a slave in the 1800's in America who escaped a cruel Slave master and fled to safety. She then returned to rescue more slaves and set up the underground railroad system. 

We thought she was a fantasticly strong, brave and aspirational woman!
