Year 3's week

The lovely sunny weather allowed the children to realy enjoy the outdoors this week!

We had a great PE lesson in the MUGA with our tennis coach Carlos. The children were practicing their racket skills - they needed co-ordination and speed to volley the ball back and forth over the net. 

We also took part in our Geography fieldwork lesson. We are comparing habitiats and went looking for signs of wildlife in our forest school area. The children discovered there is a variety of amazing wildlife right on our doorstep! 

In class the children have been using drama to really explore discussion texts and have had some really thoughtful questions and answers! They generated a lot of debates!
