Learning about beans

We have enjoyed planting seeds and watching them grow. We planted beans, and waited to see if they would grow into beanstalks like in the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. We have enjoyed learning this story in nursery. We have made beanstalks using play dough, sticks and leaves. We have retold the story using small world characters and we have 'played' with beans filling and emptying different containers exploring capacity and quantity.
