Our week of learning

This week has been a week of reflection and understnading the past. 

We created some beautiful artwork to for Remberance Day - the children were inspired by the poppies and the what they represented. 

We also focused on our well being in circle time. We discussed what 'well-being' meant to us and how we can help our well being. The children came up with some great ideas that we would all benefit from, such as eating healthily and getting a good nights sleep. 

We continued with our work on the Romans where we were introduced to the Celts! We looked at arefacts and tried to decide what they were used for. 

We had great  fun in science investigating different soils types - we were collecting different samples and filtering them. We learn how saturated soil does not drain well.
