Fantastic week!

What a brilliant week Year 3 have had! The whole class won the Acorn Achiever Award this week! They have had such a postive attitude to learning and really reflected out Acorn Values - especially Aspiration and Opportunity!

We celebrated World Religion Day on Tuesday. The children showed maturity and understanding when discussing the meaning of the day and the need for unity across the world.  Please have a look on twitter for photos of our work!

We have also been learning about the early settlers and asking why did the Vikings want to invade Britain? 

Our writing is focusing on endings of stories so we have been looking at how we can sustain the readers interest.

In maths the children have been learning all about parts of a whole and unit fractions. They are really enjoying this challenge!
