Exploring language

As part of our learning this week, Year 3 have been exploring language and understanding how vocabulary can really improve a piece of writing. We were inspired by a simple bubble! The children watched them float trhough the air and wrote down as many amazing words as they could. We then learnt about calligrams and used all our great ideas to describe a beautful bubble :)

We have also been focusing on the politicans this week and COP26 meetings that are going on. Year 3 watched a press conference with the Prime Minister Boris Johnson. We then discussed what changes they would like the politicans to make. I was really proud of how much the children really care for our planet!
