We care, we learn, we grow

Easter

Date: 26th Mar 2021 @ 5:29pm

Hello All, Happy Easter!

FS2 made enough chocolate crispy cakes for ourselves, our FS1 friends who are with us at the end of the week and even some for our siblings! We watched a video giving instructions on how to make the cakes and learnt how to melt the chocolate very carefully - we heated it for 10 seconds at a time and had to count to ten more than 10 times before it melted in a plastic bowl in the microwave! We found out never use metal in a microwave!

We were invited by Ella’s parents to enter the TESCO Easter colouring competition and Zain’s fantastic entry won him a delicious Cadbury crepe egg Easter egg! I’m sure he’ll share it with his family.

Earlier in the week, Dave our caretaker visited us to explain how to look after our resources and if they do break - he showed us some of the tools he uses to try to fix them.

Maya is going to be five at the end of March - so we sang to her for her future special day. She very kindly shared a treat with all of EYFS in today. Enjoy your special day Maya. When you come back to school - you’ll be 5 years old!

Wishing you all a very happy holiday. If you celebrate Easter - enjoy the very special occasion in the Christian calendar.

We thank you for you continual support and are looking forward to seeing you for our very exciting summer term!

Look out for EYFS newsletter on the website.
Take care and stay safe,
Mrs. Larkin and the EYFS team.
