A great week in Y3

This week has been fantastic in Year 3!

They have completed their 'hot task writing' describing both a character and setting. Inspired by our class book 'Escape from Pompeii' they children used their imagination and vocabulary knowledge to really build a picture for the reader.

We enjoyed Forest School too - the weather was exceptionally sunny for this time of year and we enjoyed contructing a giant woven web. 

We have continued learning about the Roman Empire as well as being facinated about how rocks turn into soil. They wrote some great stories about 'Roger the Rock turning to Simon Soil'
